About Bazaar
Bittensor has 128 subnets, and from the outside it's hard to tell which of them you can actually use. Bazaar answers that one question for people who aren't in the crypto world: what does my business need, and which subnet does it today?
Where the information comes from
Each subnet's name, links and token price are read directly from the Bittensor chain, last on October 13, 2026. Every subnet was then researched on its own website, docs and pricing pages on October 13, 2026, and written up in plain English. Each profile links to the pages it was based on.
What the labels mean
- Live (43 subnets): someone outside the subnet can sign up and use it today.
- Beta (17): usable now, but labelled beta or early access.
- Coming (21): announced, on a waitlist, or by request only.
- Research (31): runs a competition between miners to improve a model or dataset, or serves Bittensor itself. There's nothing to sign up for.
- Inactive (16): no working site or public information.
How search works
Search runs entirely in your browser. Typing matches your words to what each subnet does. The first time you search, a small open AI model (all-MiniLM-L6-v2, about 23 MB) downloads once from this site, so the search can understand meaning, like matching "I sell candles on Etsy" to the online store guide. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
Why it's called Bazaar
The name comes from Eric S. Raymond's 1997 essay The Cathedral and the Bazaar. In it, the cathedral is software built behind closed doors by a small group, and the bazaar is software built in the open by anyone who wants to pitch in. Bittensor is a bazaar for AI: 128 stalls, each one a contest anyone can enter, with nobody in charge. (One subnet is even called Cathedral.) This site is the walk through the market, telling you which stalls actually sell something today.
Independence
Bazaar isn't affiliated with the Opentensor Foundation or any subnet team, and no subnet paid to be listed or ranked. Token prices are shown for context only. Nothing here is financial advice.
Something wrong?
Subnets change fast. If a profile is out of date, the subnet's own website is the source of truth.
